JENNY A. CHURCH DUTILLY of Groton and St. Petersburg, FL passed away unexpectedly on January 22 in St. Petersburg.
Jenny was born in La Malbie, Quebec, Canada the daughter of Thomas and Lucienne Lajoie Church.
She worked from 1953 until 1959 for Bell Canada in Montreal.
She met the love of her life, Michael A. Dutilly and they were married July 2, 1960 in New London. Michael passed away in July of 1985.
A loving mother, nana, sister and aunt, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Liisa Dutilly-Davis and husband Todd of Gales Ferry, her beloved grandsons, Michael Todd Gerovitz of Preston, Chase Davis of Gales Ferry and Garrett Davis of New Market, Maryland and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Elisabeth Abey and a brother James Church.
A celebration of Jenny’s life for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 3 at Go Fish Restaurant, Olde Mystic Village, Mystic at 1:30 o’clock. Please omit flowers, donations in her memory may be directed to Friends of Strays, Inc., 2911 47th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33714.
